Beginning Sewing
This class is a series of learning how to sew.
These classes are basic sewing to introduce you to this exciting world of creation and creativity. Sewing unleashes a freedom of creating custom clothing and home decorating items that make you and your home unique.
Students will need to bring their own sewing machines, know how to thread it and have a basic knowledge of how it works.
February's Class is continuing with straight and curved seams, pattern cutting, matching and sewing precise seams and cutting out the pattern for March. March class needs to be pre-paid at the February class to insure that everyone has a pattern. Feel free to email Renay if you have questions or need the exact supply list for both classes (email address below).
April's class we will be working on darts, elastic casing, zippers and matching seams. Be prepared to bring your class notebooks with your protector sheets and pencil or pen to take notes with.
Fee: $15 + Supplies (each class/session)

1/4 yd of fabric (any kind to be used for the samples to place in your notebook)
scissors
flat head straight pins
thread
sewing machine (in good working order)
zipper (4 to 6 inches)
fabric marking pencils
all feet accessories that came with your machine
