Overlay Night Gown
Soft cotton batiste and basic serger heirloom techniques are the ingredients for this sweet confection of a nightgown.
A yoke overlay is embellished with a center panel of luscious silk satin ribbon, lace insertion, and embroidered insertion. Rolled hem serger pintucks border the center panel. The neck, sleeveless armholes, and yoke overlay are edged in lace. The softly gathered waltz-length skirt is finished with lace edging.
You will be learning some great serger techniques in this class that can be used for many, many other items; such as , pillows, dresses, christening gowns, etc...
It's time to bring it out of the closet, dust it off and get SERGING!!
Must already know how to thread for a 3-thread rolled hem stitch to attend this class.
