This pattern is much easier than it looks! Learn the art of precision piecing using the method of foundation paper piecing. Once you learn this technique you will have confidence to tackle any foundation paper pieced projects!
With this "Twisted Log Cabin" block you will:
- How to reduce wasted fabric.
- Chain stitch with foundation paper piecing to save time
- Press and trim pieces in the proper order.
Plus two ways to make a Lemoyne Star:
- Conquer your Y seam fears. Once you get the hang of it you'll wonder why you've avoided it before.
or
- Half-square triangle method to avoid the Y seam altogether!
